Cash and Clive represents simplistic, classic, edgy, modern, sophisticated style.
Where fashion meets function, less is more, denim is a necessity and style is everything!
Cash and Clive opened its doors at its brick and mortar location 302 Washington Street in Cape May, NJ on April 3, 2017, after a summer filled with many requests for an online store we decided it was time-we hope you love it!
Cash and Clive truly is a labor of love - love of fashion, style, and life!
Jessica graduated from Philadelphia University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and a dream to one day open her own store. After college Jessica went on to explore many career paths including working at a fashion magazine, working in the corporate world as a mens fashion buyer, managing a womens boutique, working in the restaurant business, planning weddings and events and finally making her dream come true she opened her own women's boutique- CASH AND CLIVE!
Cape May is a wonderful place to live and to vacation, Jessica wanted to give locals and visitors a taste of her sense of fashion. The shop is sure to have something for everyone be it your favorite pair of jeans, a cozy sweater, that black or white tee you always go for or the perfect summer dress you will find it! Jess does all the buying herself, is always finding something new and strongly believes in every brand that goes in the store.
Cash and Clive is not only inspired by Jessica's love of fashion but her mothers as well. Jess's mother passed away in April 2015 and she found truth to the saying "life is short" and she knew then that she wanted to do something that would make her mom happy so she finally followed her dream and took the leap to open the store that you see today. Jess's mom, Donna Laudeman was a woman of style, kindness, and an enormous love for life (a well dressed life that is). The name of the store is for Donna's pet goats that were named after music legends Johnny Cash and Clive Davis as well as Cape May legend Wally Clive Laudeman (Jessica's maternal grandfather).
